Leonardo Pereznieto Shows his Work to Personalities of Montecarlo, Cannes and Lichteinstein Opening his Painting and Sculpture Exhibit in the Mozart G

Nice, France (PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- Pereznieto did the opening of his exhibit, consisting of ten recent paintings in oil and pastel and six sculptures in bronze, hosted by the Mozart Gallery in Nice, France. Present in the elegant gallery of the Côté D´Azur were Jean-Camille Oyac (the personal physical trainer of Prince Albert of Monaco), the Baron Maurice D´Auber (cousin of the Prince of Lichtenstein), as well as actresses and models from Cannes; Denis Boucq (a famous plastic surgeon of southern France), and Preben Kläning (the manager of the gallery and the Clinique Mozart).

The guests enjoyed art show and cocktails until the late hours of the night.

The art of the Mexican artist was highly praised. Due to his success, he was offered a new individual show in the Atmosphere Gallery of Vence, also located in the south of France.

With this exhibit Leonardo Pereznieto completed his European 2006 tour and will go back to his country to exhibit in the city of Monterrey. In 2007, in addition to a number of local exhibits the artist has confirmed, he will hold individual exhibits in the Palazzo Guelfo in Florence, Italy, the above mentioned in Vence and will participate in the Bienale of Florence.

Leonardo, together with writer Claudia Moscovici of the University of Michigan, is cofounder of the new artistic movement of postromanticism, and continues to promote their movement though his international art exhibits.

Postromanticism brings passion back to earth; finds beauty, sensuality and meaning in our daily, real and contingent lives, and places women, side by side to men, at the center of a mutual artistic inspiration and creation.

Leonardo Pereznieto told us that his inspiration comes in large degree from the writing of phylospher L. Ronald Hubbard and quoted a sentence from him: "Be true to your own goals."
